In honor of the pagan first day o spring, we woke up and walked to the nearest green patch in our hood (williamsburg) McCarren Park at the North end of Bedford Avenue. It was a grey and chilly morning. Lots of dogs walking their humans.
Stopped the the Read Cafe for a little brunchy bite. Decent Eggs Florentine for Erik, me and the peanut shared rooibos tea and homemade rasberry scone.
There are alot of hippies in this neighborhood, where we feel like we blend in much more than in soho. At least in sentiment if not in fashion.
Erik is still sporting a large white peace sign on the back of his coat that I designed for him to wear to yesterday (March 19) peace march in Manhattan. Ben and Lacia came up from Ocean city to join in. I had already made plans to nap while the baby grew bigger and used alot of energy.
